Specialty has a full time opening for a Medical Office Specialist. This is a new position we are adding due to growth. Responsibilities include payroll, a variety of accounting tasks using QuickBooks, making excel reports, and working with a team to accomplish a strong financial outcome. Qualifications include excellent computer skills, accounting experience, skilled use of Microsoft Office, QuickBooks experience, confident use of all office technology, ability to interface well with team members. Occupational Therapist (Field Staff)
Specialty Home Health Care has a full time opening for a Occupational Therapist for home health visits. The position offers an excellent benefits package, a salary commensurate with experience, and challenging patient assignments. The ideal candidate will have the ability to manage a therapy caseload independently; develop strong patient and physician relationships; demonstrate excellent therapy skills that generate optimal patient outcomes and promote independence; exhibit effective communications with patients, co‑workers, and physicians; have problem solving and analytical skills; and have the ability to work independently.
Full time (or 2 part time) position includes somewhat flexible work schedule and pays per visit for Monday- Friday day shift hours.
A tablet computer will be used for clinical documentation. Must have excellent computer skills for documentation in EMR, email, and other computerized patient teaching materials. Visit notes are completed in the home.Unrestricted OT License in the State of Indiana. CPR certification (or willing to take within 30 days). A valid Indiana driver's license, reliable transportation and adequate auto insurance. Must be able to pass a physical, drug screening, background check and be able to lift 50 lbs.
